I agree that protein powder should not just be added to a somewhat bad diet and it will make everything allright. But it can be a nice addition to an otherwise fine diet, for people who exercise a lot, but don't have much of a preference for protein rich food. Vegetarians, vegans and people who just eat very little meat and dairy products.

Thanks for the great info. So helpful to know how the adrenals are involved and why it's so important to support them.

Thank you for sharing your recent story and experience Liz. One thing we usually forget about our body is that is so intelligent and capable of self-repair, if we only give it time and support. Patience, rest, right food and right movements help in most situations.

Thank you for sharing this blog Sarah:-).

I wanted to share with you that I should know better with my health and movement background and this weekend, I gave in to a quick 'pharmaceutical fix' and have spent the last 24 hours in bed due to one of the side effects of voltarol - Vertigo!!! I have had a slight rotator cuff injury to my right arm for about a month or so, which appears to worsen, when I put my arm behind my back or move my arm into abduction.

Funnily this has not affected my yoga practice or driving, but extended periods of typing at the computer seem to cause challenges. So today, I'm off to my Ayurvedic practitioner and chiropractor for some healing.

Kind regards and thank you for reminding me to always return to what is best for my body.
